Infiniti
Kicking off the Infiniti range is the brand’s sole sedan offering, the Q50. Meant to fight the likes of the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Audi A4, it’s a sporty-looking four-door with a range of powerful, turbocharged V6 engines.
The least expensive crossover in the luxury brand’s lineup is the QX50, that features a variable-compression turbocharged engine. It’s seriously high-tech, but it can be boiled down thusly: more power, and better fuel mileage. Front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive optional. Those who want a swoopier shaped crossover can opt for the coupe-like version of the QX50 called the QX55.
The three row QX60 is the bread winner of the Infiniti family, accounting for more sales than any other model. Last year it was all-new and vastly improved inside and out. New styling and a well thought out interior have continued the model’s success.
Completing the Infiniti lineup is the full-size QX80. A big and brash old school body-on-frame SUV, it has a great big V8 sitting in its upright nose. Subtlety is not its forte, but it can tow and play in the dirt better than most other large SUVs out there.
