With the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a massive controversy erupted in the US over whether President Trump should appoint her replacement now or if it should wait until after the federal election on Nov. 3, 2020, meaning it probably wouldn’t happen until 2021.

The Democrats and social activists are screaming it shouldn’t be made during an election year, while those supporting the Republicans are shouting fill the seat before the federal election.
