A beautiful picture for each line of this stirring poem about the Blackrobes. Love it!!

“Black robes” they were named,
Sent home to safety, yet,
Returned to the Land of certain death,
To the souls they could not forget.
Black robes with water pouring,
Baptizing all the nations,
“Alter Christi”, he is; “another Christ”
Called to bring souls to Salvation.
Magnificent! The pictures brought out the meaning of the poem.
