China Sec. General Xi Jianping To Sinicize Catholic Church

Sinicization of all churches was first mentioned by  Secretary General Xi Jinping in the Central United Front Meeting in 2015. The CPA and the Bishops Conference have passed a five year plan to “sinicize” the Catholic Church.  This means that all religions will uphold an independent principle and follow the leadership of the Communist Party.  http://www.asianews.it  (vatican asks legitimate bishops to step aside in favour of illegitimate ones

During a sermon for a Catholic priest who died mysteriously in Communist China, Cardinal Joseph Zen, Bishop Emeritus of Hong Kong, had called on God to save the Holy See from “the brink of the precipice and not sell out the faithful Church” to the Chinese government. (Asia News Nov. 11, 2017)

The Holy See has fallen off the brink of the precipice!

In his sermon, Cardinal Zen was referring to ongoing negotiations between the Vatican and the Communist Chinese government concerning the selection of Bishops.  Since the Communist revolution in 1950, there have been two Catholic churches in China:  the Catholic Patriotic Association (CPA), which is run by the government, and the real underground Catholic Church, which is loyal to Rome, and is illegal in China.

Cardinal Zen had been to Rome in January of 2017, and, delivered a letter personally to Pope Francis.  At age 86, he had stood in line in the freezing weather with other petitioners.

His plea for help  from the Vatican and Pope Francis has fallen on deaf ears.

The real Catholic church in China is in union with Rome and is loyal to the Pope.  The CPA is not in  union with Rome and is not loyal to the Pope.

In the Catholic Patriotic Association (CPA),  Chinese government authorities select the Bishops and monitor them, their churches, and their congregations to assure that all are behaving in accordance with the party line.

As the Wall Street Journal reported last year, the CPA “oversees the official church of some 70 Bishops and five million adherents who answer to Beijing and toe its line.

The underground church, by contrast, follows the Pope, for which its 30 Bishops and estimated seven million adherents face harassment, imprisonment and worse.”  https://www.cnsnews.com/blog/michael-w-chapman/cardinal-zen-calls-vatican-not-sell-out-faithful–church-china

Catholicism and Communism are sharply opposed to each other.

Cardinal Zen, of the faithful underground,  can well shed light on the difference as he goes on in his sermon about the priest who “died mysteriously” as others have done and will continue to do under Communism should they deviate from the party and try to remain holy Catholics:

Father Wei Heping, 41 years old, a priest of the underground Church, died in mysterious circumstances in November of 2015.  He had been on a trip to Leaoaning province and was expected to return home on November 8, 2015.

His body was found in a river in Snanxi. Police ruled the cause of death to be “suicide”.  According to the news report an autopsy showed a “wide hemorrhagic area in the right part of the brain but no wounds on the skin” They refused to give a copy of this very questionable report to Father Wei’s family.

The Holy See has asked Bishop Peter Zhuang Jianjian of Shantou, and an underground Bishop, to retire.  He will be replaced by Bishop Joseph Huang Bingzhang, who is a CPA Bishop.

So China and the Vatican will work together to overthrow the ‘real’ Catholic Church!

The waters of the errors of Russia continue to flow over the face of the earth in great rivers of blood and tears.

What Are We To Think of The Divine Mercy Devotion?

“The true image of God’s mercy is the Sacred Heart of Jesus, pierced with a lance, crowned with thorns, dripping precious blood.  The Sacred Heart calls for a devotion of reparation, as the Popes have always requested.”

Many people have certainly received graces from the devotion to Divine Mercy propagated by St. Faustina, and her personal piety was certainly most exemplary.  However, this does not necessarily mean that this devotion is from God.  It is true that Pope St. John Paul promoted this devotion and that it was through his efforts that the prohibition was lifted on April 15, 1978, and, that he even introduced a feast of Divine Mercy into the Novus Ordo.

However, the fact that good and pious people receive graces and that Sister Faustina was pious do not necessarily mean that it is from heaven.  In fact, it was not only not approved  before Vatican II.  It was condemned.

This despite the fact that the prayers themselves of the chaplet of ‘Divine Mercy are orthodox.

Condemned By The Holy See                                                                                                             There were two decrees from Rome on this question, both in the time of Pope John XXIII.  The Supreme Congregation of the Holy Office, in a plenary meeting held on November 19, 1958, made the following decisions:

  1.  The supernatural nature of the revelations made to Sister Faustina is not evident.
  2.  No Feast of Divine Mercy is to be instituted.
  3.   It is forbidden to divulge images and writings that propagate this devotion under    the form received by Sister Faustina.

The Second Decree of the Holy Office was on March 6, 1959, in which the following was established:

  1.  The diffusion of images and writings promoting the devotion to Divine Mercy under the form proposed by the same Sister Faustina was forbidden.
  2. The prudence of the Bishops is to judge as to the removal of the aforesaid images that are already displayed for public honor.

What was it about this devotion that prevented the Holy Office from acknowledging its’ Divine origin?  The decrees do not say, but it seems that the reason lies in the fact that there is so much emphasis on God’s mercy as to exclude His justice.  Our sins and the gravity of the offense that they inflict on God is pushed aside as being of little consequence.  That is why the aspect of reparation for sin is omitted or obscured.

The true image of God’s mercy is the Sacred Heart of Jesus, pierced with a lance, crowned with thorns, dripping precious blood.  The Sacred Heart calls for a devotion of reparation, as the Popes have always requested.  However, this is not the case with the Divine Mercy Devotion.

The image has no Heart.  It is a Sacred Heart without a Heart, without reparation, without the price of our sins being clearly evident.  It is this that makes the devotion very incomplete, and, makes us suspicious of its supernatural origin, regardless of Sister Faustina’s own good intentions and personal holiness.

The absence of the need for reparation for sins is manifest in the strange promise of freedom from all the temporal punishment due to sin for those who observe the 3:00PM Low Sunday devotions.  How could such a devotion be more powerful and better than a plenary indulgence, applying the extraordinary treasury of the merits of the Saints.

How could  the devotion not require the detachment from even venial sin that is necessary to obtain a plenary indulgence?

There is Presumption in the Writings of Sister Faustina                                                         The published Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalski (Marian Press, Stockbridge, MA, 2007) also indicates several reasons to seriously question the supernatural origin of the more than 640 voluminous and repeated apparitions and messages.  The characteristic of any true mystic who has received supernatural graces is always a profound humility, a sense of unworthiness, and, an awareness and profession of the gravity of his sins.

Yet, this humility is strangely lacking in Sister Faustina’s diary.  On October 2, 1936, for example, she states that the “Lord Jesus” spoke these words to her:  “Now I know that it is not for the graces or gifts that you love me, but because My will is dearer to you than life.  That is why I am uniting Myself with you so intimately as with no other creature.”  ((707,  p.288)).  This gives every appearance of being a claim of being more united to Jesus than anybody else, even the Blessed Virgin Mary, and certainly more than all the other Saints.  What pride, to believe such an affirmation, let alone to assert that it came from heaven.

In April 1938, Sister Faustina read the canonization of St. Andrew Bobola and was filled with longing and tears that her congregation might have its own saint.  Then she affirms the following:  “And the Lord Jesus said to me, “Don’t cry.  You are that saint.”  ((1650,  p.583)).  These are words that most certainly no true saint would affirm, but rather his sinfulness and unworthiness to his congregation.

This presumption in her writings is not isolated.  She praises herself on several occasions through the words supposedly uttered by Jesus.  Listen to this interior locution:

“Beloved pearl of My Heart, I see your love so pure, purer than that of the angels, and all the more so because you keep fighting.  For your sake I bless the world”  ((1061,  p400)).  On May 23, 1937 she describes a vision of the Holy Trinity, after which she heard a voice saying:  “Tell the Superior General to count on you as the most faithful daughter in the Order”.  ((1130,  p417))

Consequently it is hardly surprising that Sister Faustina claimed to be exempt from the Particular and General Judgments.  On February 4, 1935, she already claimed to hear the voice in her soul:  “From today on, do not fear God’s judgment, for you will not be judged.”  ((374, p168)).

Add to this the preposterous affirmation that the host three times over jumped out of the tabernacle and placed itself in her hands.  ((44, p23)), so that she had to open up the tabernacle herself.  This tells the story of a presumption on God’s grace which goes beyond all reason, let alone of a person supposedly favored with innumerable and repeated mystical and supernatural graces.

It is perhaps not accidental that Pope Saint John Paul II promoted this devotion, for it is very much in line with his encyclical ‘Dives in Misercordia’ .  In fact the Paschal Mystery theology that he taught pushed aside all consideration of the gravity of sin and the need for penance, for satisfaction to divine justice, and hence of the Mass as being an expiatory sacrifice.  It pushes aside the need to gain indulgences and to do works of penance.

Since God is infinitely merciful and does not count our sins, all this is considered of no consequence  This is not the Catholic spirit.  We must make reparation for our sins and for the sins of the whole world, as the Sacred Heart repeatedly asked at Paray-Le-Monial.

It is the renewal of our consecration to the Sacred Heart and frequent holy hours of reparation that is going to bring about the conversion of sinners.  It is in this way that we can cooperate in bringing about His Kingdom of Merciful Love, because it is the perfect recognition of the infinite holiness of the Divine Majesty and complete submission to His rightful demands.

Mercy only means something when we understand the price of our Redemption.

St. Philomena: Powerful With God

On January 10 the Birthday of St. Philomena was celebrated in Mangnano, Italy in the Sanctuary of St. Philomena. She was just a child when she was martyred and the story of her life is not there for we know little.  We do know that she is powerful with God.  Oh so many miracles have been obtained from prayers to her.  The story of her excavation from the catacombs of Priscilla and the happenings around it are more than marvelous.  God has given us a treasure.  She was Padre Pio’s favorite Saint.  He attributed all his miracles to her. But that is the humility of Padre Pio.  I encourage you to read her story.  You won’t forget her easily.

Blessing of the Oil and the Birthday of Saint Philomena

Because of the revelations of Sister Maria Luisa di Gesu, a simple holy nun, we celebrate Saint Philomena’s birthday on this day.  Under the guidance of the Sister’s spiritual director, she wrote of the visions which she had received of Saint Philomena.

It was revealed that the birthday of Saint Philomena was January 10.  On December 21, 1833, the Holy Office declared that there was nothing contrary to the Catholic faith in the revelations that Sister Maria di Gesu (1799-1875), a Dominican tertiary from Naples, claimed to have received from the Saint Herself.

Saint Philomena:                                                                                                                                    “My dear Sister, I am the daughter of a Grecian King and my Mother was of royal blood too.  However they did not have children.

They prayed much and offered gifts to their false gods.

There lived with our family a Roman Doctor, whose name was Publius, who is now a Saint in Heaven, although not a martyr.  Touched by their desperation and grieved by the infertility of my poor mother, inspired by the Holy Ghost, he spoke to them of our Faith, and assured them that they would have children if they received holy Baptism.

His words were followed by the grace of God which enlightened my parents minds, and melted their hearts.  They embraced Christianity and soon after, my Mother gave birth to me on the 10th of January.

I was named Lumena, because I was conceived and born in the Light of Faith, to which my parents had become greatly devoted.

Grace was also showered on those who wrote my book in Mugnano – also my sepulchral monument.

They were not aware that in reality they were guided by God’s grace which inspired their minds like the ones who originally wrote on my tomb in Rome.”

Message From the Shrine of Saint Philomena                                                                             It is not important if you choose to believe these visions of this holy servant of God or not, but this is the day we give thanks for the birth of Saint Philomena and her existence in our life and in the world.  It is a wonderful start to our year and is quickly followed by the feast of the Patronage of Saint Philomena during which we have our very special blessing of the oil of Saint Philomena.  This annually takes place  the Sunday following the January 10th.

Let us begin our year celebrating that we have Saint Philomena, who is Powerful with God, in our lives and we know  with this simple fact that we can conquer anything.  Her Sacred Body is kept here in her Sanctuary in this small northern Italian town of Mugnano del Cardinale, where the church of Our Lady of Grace was waiting to welcome her.  Having Saint Philomena in our life guides us on a straight route to Our Blessed Mother and Our Lord Jesus Christ.” (More on the story of her Sacred Body follows below)

07:30  Mass at the Altar of the Sacred Body of Saint Philomena                                                   17:00  Mass at the High Altar before the external processions

After Mass the external celebration for St. Philomena begins.  Fire crackers and other noisy booms are heard to acknowledge the day she first arrived in Mugnano del Cardinale over 200 years ago.  On that day she was greeted with the sounds of chrch bells and large cannons.  The city made as much noise as they could in their excitement, gratitude and pride of being the home of this great Saint.  Surely their celebration awoke such love in St. Philomena’s heart that she wanted to shower them with graces from God.  And she has!

Information on the “Sacred Body” of St. Philomena, which was, when found, the skeleton of a young girl, and, the extremely exciting and spiritually uplifting story of how the shrine in Mugnana came to be her home is detailed in the book ‘Saint Philomena Powerful With God’ by Sister Marie Helene Mohr, S.C. .    This can be obtained at the Shrine’s Gift Shop along with many other facts.

The Sea Turns To Blood: Mohammedanism Apoc. Ch 8 V8

Interpretations from:  The Book of Destiny by Rev. Bernard Haring Kramer 1950 edition

“And the second angel sounded the trurmpet, and, as it were, a great mountain burning with fire, was cast into the sea;  and the third part of the sea became blood, and the third part of the creatures in the sea, which have life, died, and the third part of the ships was destroyed.”  Apocalypse VIII  VIII

The Book of Revelation  as interpreted by Father H. Bernard Kramer in 1953 after 30 years of studying this mysterious book, and, learning 7 languages.

download 8.jpg

“The Second Angel sounds the trumpet, and, as it were, a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast into the sea, and the third part of the sea became blood and the third part of the creatures in the sea, which have life, died, and the third part of the ships was destroyed.”

“St. John, still in the spirit (of prophecy), on the Lord’s Day, continues recording what he is seeing in heavenly visions.  The mind, heart, and character of John were eminently qualified to receive these revelations.  The great prophets of the Old Testament had received only glimpses of these and similar visions.  But since St. John was spiritually and morally far superior to the ancient prophets, his qualifications made him worthy of receiving the complete revelations which the prophets received only in fragments.”     Father Herman Bernard Kramer

“At the sound of the second trumpet, a burning mountain is seen by the seer.  The entire mountain is a mass of fire.  It is then hurled into the sea and turns the water of the sea into real blood.  So much blood is produced that one third of the creatures who have life (souls) in the sea die.  This allegory forebodes something which is aptly clothed in the figure which John sees.”

“If the sea were actually changed into blood, all living creatures in the sea would die, as in the first plague of Egypt.  The fire is the element that converts the third part of the sea into blood.  If a mere fire were cast into the sea, it would be extinguished at once.  This could then be only a metaphorical fire.  In other parts of the Apocalypse it represents hatred.   Here too.

One third of the creatures (souls) die in the fire when the burning mountain turns it into blood.  This effect is an allusion to the first plague of Egypt.  However, the figurative concept of the whole chapter makes us seek an allegorical interpretation.

These creatures who die are rational, are human beings, and therefore probably die a spiritual death.

The two verses take in view the Mediterranean Sea as the physical embodiment of that sea which is the human race.  (See XVII.15) or the nations of Asia or Africa bordering on the Mediterranean.

In prophetical imagery it is nothing new to predict a menacing and plundering world power as a burning mountain.

Jeremiah used the same figure to denominate Babylon at the time of the captivity.  After its’ destruction Babylon was called a “burnt mountain”.  In this text the seer describes the coming menace from the south as a burning mountain because it would not be an extinct or destroyed world power but active and full of devastating fire for a long time.

The third of creatures who died obviously means the Christians who were coerced to relinquish their holy faith.  They died a spiritual death.

The huge mass of the burning mountain tumbled into the sea throws it into such convulsions as to sink a third of the ships. This is the result of an earthquake in the bed of the seas.  Two thirds of the ships and two thirds of the living creature escape.  This peculiar grammatical construction gives a quasi=personal character to the ships that are “destroyed” as if they had life and to the creatures “that have souls.”

In the history of Christianity, these allegorical figures describe nothing with truer precision than Mohammedanism.

Mohammed preached an unceasing and holy war against all unbelievers who would not believe his religion.  He inaugurated a world movement and established a world power by the edge of the sword, which turned a part of the world into blood.  The motive for that bloodshed was a false religion of affected oriental fanaticism and hatred for all who not accept it.  With fire and sword he devastated the earth.

Mohammedanism was/is a religion of crude materialism;  it reduced the moral standards of its adherents to animalism.  Its’ oriental fanaticism upholds thievery, robbery and slavery against all unbelievers, and, it promises a heaven of sensual delights.  It not only brought spiritual death to the regions it conquered but a blood death to all who opposed its progress.”

As it does today.

The Second Angel of the Apocalypse sounds the trumpet.

Pope Wishes Peace on Earth on First Day of 2018: Through the UN

Photo:  Instagram/Franciscus   National Catholic Register

“The Holy Father greeted the flock of the world on New Years day with an allusion to the greeting which the angels proclaimed to the shepherds on that first Christmas night.  “Peace to all people and to all nations on earth!”  He went on to wish that all peoples recall it as a profound aspiration … especially those who most keenly suffer its’ absence.”NCR

The original words of the angels,   “Glory to God in the highest and peace on earth to men of good will” were missing.  But, as His Holiness had said previously “Jesus didn’t use a tape recorder.” But then again, He actually WAS God … who inspired the writing of the holy prophets in the scriptures.

Also amiss was any reference to Mary on this day on which  we celebrate ‘The Solemnity of Mary’.

The Pope addressed the plight of migrants and refugees.  He recalled the words of Pope Benedict XVI:  “men and women, children, young and elderly people, who are searching for somewhere to live in peace.”NCR

Never before in earth’s history has the world been so chaotic as to force its’ entire population to leave their beautiful home lands.  They stream over her face in floods as they leave their beautiful homelands carrying their few possessions on their backs.  Children with sunken eyes who flail thin little arms and legs restlessly about.  Babies crying with hunger.  There are older ones too.  Their back are bent and aching under the burden of carrying a child or a few meager belongings.  Maybe some bread or apples in a bag. They must go through storms and hot desert lands.  Sometimes the earth heaves in a great quake in harmony with the sorrow of its’ Creator.

Why?  Is there not enough room on the earth?  There are those who claim so!

The Pope offers “Four milestones for Action.  Welcoming! Protecting! Promoting! Integrating!  These will be accomplished in the future by the U.N. if we become imbued with the “welcoming spirit” which will  guide the process that in the course of 2018 will lead the UN to draft and approve two Global Compacts.

One is for safe, orderly and regular migration.  The other is for refugees.

http://www.refugeesmigrants.un.org/refugees-compact

As shared agreements at a global level, these compacts will provide a framework for policy proposals and practical measures.”

So there really is no end to it … and it seems as though all the plans are in pace for us all  between the Pope and the political kings of the world.
