The brief and moving ceremony of the canonical crowning took place immediately after the General Audience in Saint Peter’s Square in Vatican City. On that occasion, those invited to greet the Pope personally included Father Manuel, Rector of the Shrine of LaSalette.
Present also were some members of the LaSalette General Council of the Congregation, Father Joseph Antin, Vicar General of the Diocese of Grenoble, Sister Elisabeth, Superior General of the Sisters of Our Lady of LaSalette.
The Mayor of LaSalette-Fallavaux, the Honorable Gilda Perrin was also present.

The above website presents a smiling Pope Francis who is, for the most part of it, hidden behind a sign which seems to purposefully hide him. He is greeting the people with his usual flair. He has already crowned the statue when the pictures were taken apparently.
It is strange that such a meaningful event has been obscured … like Our Lady’s messages.
