The Pagani Huayra BC is Here to Hunt Hypercars
Pagani has released the most hardcore version of its Huayra supercar, taking aim at the hypercars like the LaFerrari. The exclusive hypercar made its public debut at the Geveva Motor Show.
The Pagani Huayra BC is named after Pagani’s first-ever customer, Benny Caiola, and only 20 of these focused supercars will be built, each selling for 2.35-million Euros each.
Power output has been squeezed to 789 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque from a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 built by AMG, which is hooked up to a unique seven-speed transverse gearbox. It is an automated manual transmission that can shift in just 75 milliseconds compared to the standard car’s 150 millisecond shift time.
Top speed is estimated to be around 220 mph while the sprint to 60 mph will take around 2.8 seconds.

The front and rear subframes have been improved to provide better cooling for the BC, while other changes include new suspension uprights, Öhlins four-way adjustable dampers, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes and a new electronic differential in the rear.
A ton of aerodynamic enhancements are also added to the BC to help it stick the track, but Pagani hasn’t released any official downforce figures just yet.
Overall weight clocks in at a scant 2,976 lbs. Pagani looked at every detail when removing weight from the car, including adding a titanium exhaust and making a new monocoque body out of a composite stiffer and lighter than carbon fiber.
