The Kia EV6 is Kia’s most powerful car, ever.

Released during Pebble Beach, the Kia EV6 GT is the top-of-the-line variant of the EV6 crossover. It boasts 576 horsepower split between two motors, enabling AWD. The super-powered Kia will sprint from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds, and keep pulling all the way up to a 168 MPH top speed. There’s even a drift mode for all you power sliding hooligans reading this, salivating over those specs.

Outside, the Kia EV6 looks somewhat similar to the Kia EV6 GT-Line currently on sale, but a few changes differentiate the two. Firstly, the EV6 GT’s exterior has neon accents in key areas. The 21-inch wheels sit in front of neon green brake calipers, and inside the GT-spec seats are accented with neon green stitching and piping.

The EV6’s suspension, chassis, brakes, and traction management systems have all had upgrades to control that 576 horsepower. Kia says the EV6 GT has an e-LSD designed to shuffle power around to the wheels that have the most grip. Big, ventilated brake disks are managed by four-piston brake calipers up front and should stop the Kia EV6 much quicker than the standard model.

The range hasn’t been specified, but it looks like the Kia EV6 GT uses the same 77.4 kWh battery as the standard car. Whether or not the GT’s upgrades will affect range, remains yet to be seen. Either way, the Kia EV6 GT looks like a solid alternative to the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, and should be an exciting, sporty electro-wagon.
