The Genesis GV60 Is Now Available In Four More States

Buying a Genesis GV60 just got a little more accessible.

Genesis has been on a roll, lately. It plans to become an electric-only brand in the near future, only introducing EV models from 2025 onward. Genesis already has two EV models on sale, the Electrified G80, and the GV60 crossover. Based on the very-good E-GMP platform shared with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, the Genesis GV60 is the luxury-oriented iteration of those two cars, but unfortunately, access has been limited, with sales restricted to certain dealers in four US states. Now, Genesis has announced that the GV60 is available in four more states, bringing the total to eight.

The Genesis GV60 is now available in Washington, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada; adding to the California, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey previously available. The GV60 was launched this past May, for a base price of $58,890. That got you 248 miles of range, and 314 horsepower split between two motors, giving the GV60 AWD. GV60 buyers will receive three years’ worth of free 30-minute charging sessions from Electrify America.

Eventually, the GV60 is planned to be sold at all dealers across the US and Canada, but that rollout isn’t quite clear. Yet, there have only been about four months since the GV60’s initial launch, and expansion of service. At this rate, most of the US could see GV60s in Genesis showrooms by the middle of next year. Soon, the GV60 will be joined by the Genesis Electrified GV70, bringing Genesis’s US EV model lineup, to three.
