The 2024 Acura Integra Type S Will Start At $51,995; Reservations Open May 11
The 2024 Acura Integra Type S is more expensive than the Honda Civic Type R.
We’ve been waiting with bated breath for a while now, but now we finally know. Acura’s super hotrod sports hatchback has a price of $51,995 including the destination fee. That’s quite a bit higher than the $44,980 than the base Civic Type R starting price. Yet, that’s about the same distance in price as the Civic Si and Integra A Spec.
Like the relationship between less powerful variants of the Civic and Integra, the Integra’s higher price is partially reflective of its more premium status. For starters, the Integra has five more horsepower than the Civic. Then, its interior has options not found on the Civic, like a head up display and a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D premium audio system. Heck, the Integra Type S gets heated seats as standard, something not available on the Civic Type R. The rest of the Type S is about the same as the Civic Type R, though. So, the same adaptive dampers, a six-speed manual with limited slip differential, and sports hatch goodness that we’ve all come to know and love in the Civic Type R.
The 2024 Acura Integra Type S will be available for reservation, on May 11th, 10:00 AM PT. By using Acura.com/Integra, the brand says that prospective buyers will have the chance to reserve one of the first 200 cars as they make their way to dealerships starting in June. The Integra Type S’s $50,000 price tag certainly isn’t cheap, but still, we predict that these reservations are probably going to go quickly.
