The Nissan Sentra’s price stays the same.

The 2023 Nissan Sentra’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it update may not have brought many exterior changes, but whatever the case, the Sentra stays the same price as last year. Starting at $19,950, or $21,045 after the $1,095 destination fee, the base model Sentra doesn’t have a price increase, yet certain trims do get more sophisticated this time around. The Sentra SV and Sentra SR have had modest price increases of $140.

Not a single Sentra will come without an infotainment unit that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also, all 2023 Nissan Sentras come with Nissan’s Safety Shield suite of features. That includes automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot warning, and lane departure warning.

Otherwise, the Sentra’s mechanical specifications are unchanged. All three trims receive the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder mated to a CVT transmission, sent to the front wheels. The Sentra can touch 39 MPG freeway (S and SV model grades), respectable in its class.

The Sentra’s price is very competitive; the Sentra’s top trim SR maxes out at nearly $2,000 less than where the base Honda Civic sedan starts. The Sentra may not be the most exciting to drive, there’s no sporty Honda Civic Si rival or variant to rival hybrid options like the Corolla, but it offers a lot of bang for the buck. It’s spacious, reasonably comfortable, and now, well-equipped for the price.

The updated 2023 Nissan Sentra is already on sale and en route to dealer lots.
