GMC will be entering the full-size all electric pickup truck world with the Sierra EV. To start, the top of the line Denali Edition 1 will be available, featuring a dual motor set-up. Like it’s corporate sibling, the Chevrolet Silverado EV, the top trim Sierra will have 754 hp and 785 lb.-ft of torque.
Unlike the Ford F-150 Lightning, the Sierra EV is not built on the same platform as the gas-powered Sierra. The Sierra EV is on a large version of GM’s scalable EV platform and of course features a front trunk.
