Your Best Look Yet at Honda's New Electric SUV
Slow to enter the EV marketplace, Honda is finally getting started, releasing official info on the 2024 Prologue. This all-electric midsize SUV boasts an anticipated EPA range rating of 300 miles on a single charge.
As an EV it comes with an 85 kWh battery pack with dual motor versions making around 288 hp and 333 lb.-ft. of torque.
Honda claims that using 155 kW DC fast charging it can add roughly 65 miles of range in 10 minutes. It's also capable of utilizing 350 kW chargers, while at home an 11.5 kW capability is what's on tap.
As an SUV it's roughly the same size as Honda's Passport, and is approximately 8-inches longer and 5-inches wider than the CR-V.
Pricing is in the high $40,000 range before incentives with the first deliveries happening in early 2024.
