Already building some of the world’s most exotic cars, Pagani today announced its latest achievement, the Zonda Revolucion.

Italian supercar maker Pagani has released a new mystery teaser, which is probably showing off the new Zonda R Evolution.

A new promo video was released today, touting the Pagani Huayra as the “God of Wind,” and insinuating that owning this Italian supercar will result in sex.

Pagani doesn’t have a new model or a new engine on display at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Rather, the Italian supercar maker used the opportunity to showcase a new Sonus Faber sound system for the exotic (and hard to pronounce) Huayra.

A mystery teaser was recently released by Italian supercar maker Pagani, and a new follow-up video has now been released revealing that the brand is teaming up with Sonus Faber sound systems.

As if the Pagani Huayra wasn’t extreme enough with its 6.0-liter AMG twin-turbo V12 engine with 730 hp, this owner took delivery of a unique purple carbon-finished exotic featuring gold wheels.

Wealthy American car collectors have something to look forward to by mid 2013: Pagani’s first U.S. marketed supercar hitting dealer showrooms.

As if Pagani‘s vehicles weren’t expensive and exotic enough, the Italian automaker looks to be dabbling with some lifestyle accessories to complement its vehicles.

It’s hard to believe that one could improve on the amazing Pagani Zonda R. The track-only model weighs in at a scant 2,359 lbs, packing 750-hp and 524 lb-ft of torque thanks to its AMG-sourced 6.0-liter V12 engine.

The new Pagani Huayra continues the brand’s unique design language from its insect feeler-like mirrors to the unmistakeable afterburner-style exhaust.

The video featured below is packed with details perfect for car geeks. It dives into detail about the production process, telling you about the complex materials that the Huayra is made up of, and the important safety of the fuel-tank (It cuts off fuel as soon as it detects a collision), among many other tech-heavy details.

Horacio Pagani has never built a boring car in his life, starting as the designer of Lamborghinis and moving on to create his own over-the-top super car company, Pagani.  

This year marks Queen Elizabeth’s diamond jubilee, and to celebrate, a gathering of sixty rare and beautiful cars will be brought together at the quadrangle in Windsor Castle in England. 

Only cars of the highest caliber have been invited to the event, and will be arriving at the castle from all over the world. One car from every year starting from 1952 will be featured, representing every year since the Queen was inaugurated. The earliest car featured is a 1952 Bentley R Type(54′ R Type Shown Above), and the newest car will be a 2011 Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF or a Porsche 991.

Most of the cars have already been selected, but an open casting call is out right now for owners of specific cars to volunteer to bring their fine machines to the Castle to be displayed for the Queen.

We have to wonder how much the Queen really likes cars? Hopefully she appreciates what she is getting, as this will undoubtedly be one of the nicest gatherings of rare luxury cars ever.

Ever wonder what it takes to build one of the world’s finest Italian exotic automobiles? Pagani has decided to share a documentary showcasing how its Huayra was born, and how it’s built.

We’ve seen a lot of automotive-related videos in our time, and this may just be the finest 15 minutes you can ever spend on an online video. Pagani really needs no introduction, being one of the few automakers that have created a formidable opponent to Italian rivals Ferrari and Lamborghini. There are no automotive enthusiasts in the world who haven’t heard of the Pagani Zonda, and now its successor, the Huayra, will be capturing our attention for years to come.

Recently the Pagani Huayra Carbon Edition was revealed at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, packing a 6.0L twin-turbo AMG V12 with 700-hp and over 700 lb-ft of torque with an exposed carbon fiber body.

Along with exotic supercars from “conventional” brands like Ferrari and Lamborghini, the Geneva Motor Show is famous for more obscure models from marques like Koenigsegg and, of course, Pagani.

If you had twelve children every year, would you love them all the same? It might be hard to keep track, but as is true with any parent, seeing one of your babies hurt would be tragic.

The list of the Top 10 most expensive new cars is even more shocking that you might expect. Released by Forbes, you can forget the Ferrari 458 or the $300,000 Lamborghini Aventador because even at the low end of the scale these models start at right around the one million mark.

Contrary to published reports, the Pagani Huayra supercar will go on sale in America in the near(ish) future. The brand’s only previous model, the Zonda, was never federalized and it looked as though the unpronounceably-named Huayra would suffer the same fate, with Pagani failing to get an airbag exception from the U.S. government.

There are supercars, and then there are supercars. Sure the Bugatti Veyron holds the world record for the fastest production car, but as impressive as that is, it will never hold the hearts of auto enthusiasts like the Ferrari F40.

If those similar yet different vehicles represent two distinct categories of supercar, the Pagani Zonda falls in the latter. Built in Italy, the Zonda is a true exotic and makes even the Enzo seem as common as a Camry by comparison. (Pagani built just 12 Zondas a year during the car’s run).

But the ultimate Zonda is the “R”, a track-only special model that weighs just 2,359 lbs. Powered by a 6.0-liter AMG V12 engine that makes an incredible 750-hp and 524 ft-lbs of torque, the Zonda R can hit 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and holds the Nurburgring record for production-based cars at 6:47.

But perhaps more amazing than all these statistics is how that big AMG V12 engine sounds, especially mated to a sequential shift box. Video of the Zonda R on track has surfaced before, but listening to this engine never gets old. This latest clip shows the car on track (with the Huayra, the Zonda’s successor) at Adria International Speedway in Northern Italy. Behind the wheel is former F1 driver Andrea Montermini. Turns out, being rich and looking good ain’t enough to get you by in this business. The Pagani Huayra has to step in line with the proletariat: just because it’s a six-figure, low-volume supercar, doesn’t grant it an exemption from America’s airbag regulations.

The Pagani Zonda C12 7.3 Roadster is undoubtedly one of the most striking and desirable supercars on the planet. Most car enthusiasts would be willing to do just about anything to own one.

Even though Pagani Zonda had wanted to create 25 F Roadsters, only 24 ever made it out of the factory.

With the Gumball 3000 already underway (it started May 26), the folks in charge of the international parade of shenanigans has released a video showing the rally’s start in Covent Garden, London. The 19 minute video shows over 100 of the most magnificent and rare supercars in the world. Even the rain couldn’t stop the massive crowd that gathered to watch the beginning of the world’s most fun and most glamorous rally.

The 3000 mile rally will start in London and end in Istanbul over a seven day period across 10 countries, via Paris, Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Milan, Venice, Zagreb, Belgrade and Sofia. It was also revealed that the 2011 rally would cost £25,000 to take part in.

Participants include the “who’s who” of the international social scene, Sheikhs, entrepreneurs, oil tycoons, and dot com billionaires.

The incredible line up includes Pagani Zondas, Bugatti Veyrons, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Rolls Royces, Bentleys, Aston Martins, Jaguars, Porsches, Morgans and several Lotus’, and this year, over 20 eco and concept electric cars are taking part as Gumball enters a new decade of green motoring!

The Pagani Huayra is here at Adria International Raceway in northern Italy, doing what it does best—rendering our chins leaking with copious amounts of drool.

So if you’ve been praying for Pagani to open a dealership in America, your prayers have been answered, sort of. Pagani just announced that two dealers will be handling sales for them in North America and both are located in California.

These days, Lego has done such brilliant marketing to stay relevant to all ages that we can hardly consider it a child’s toy anymore. From Lego edition video games (which are great for kids and adults) to this Pagani Zonda C12 S, we think it’s safe to say Lego is really for everyone.

It’s hard to make a successful sequel, and in the styling department Pagani’s new Huayra is hardly a worthy successor to the Zonda. Overlooking the car’s catfish mouth is becoming easier with every time we see the car; our objections diminishing significantly when we first saw it in person at the Geneva Auto Show. Now we’re really starting to fall in love with the car thanks to some extra-sexy high-production quality video released by the Italian supercar manufacturer.

There’s little point arguing that Pagani’s new Huayra supercar is as beautiful as its predecessor, the Zonda, but the car’s proportions are more appealing in person. Officially revealed today at the Geneva Auto Show, it’s still hard to overlook the Huayra’s catfish mouth.

The world of video games is full of competition, and getting the exclusivity to a feature helps get you a leg up on the competition. Now that Gran Turismo 5 is on sale (and receiving awesome patch updates) the world of console racing games is wide open. What can other video game developers possibly come up with to rival the fame of Gran Turismo 5? How about getting the exclusivity to include Pagani’s Huayra?

Shift 2 Unleashed, part of the Need for Speed series, will be the only racing game that will offer the ability to drive Pagani’s Huayra, virtually of course. We’ll be curious how the game executes simulating 700-hp out of a carbon-titanium monocoque chassis.

Shift 2 Unleashed will be available on March 29th in North America and April 1st in Europe.

While hardly the household name that Ferrari is, Pagani models are far more exotic and rare, especially because they’ve never been available in North America – until now.

After sticking it to Ferrari on the Nurburgring, Pagani has one-upped its Italian rival once again with the Zonda R – this time on Top Gear’s test track.

Posting a 1’08.5 lap time, the car is nearly 7 seconds faster than the Ariel Atom 500 and a solid 2.2 seconds faster than the Ferrari FXX (driven by Michael Schumacher no less). In a release by Pagani, it states that the FXX was using racing slicks, although we’re left to assume the Zonda R also used slicks as it’s a purpose-built track car.

That being said, it’s not likely to officially hold the title as it would be classified as a race car and not a street car.

When you make machines as exotic, powerful and achingly beautiful as Pagani does, coming up with an encore is a tall order. The maker of ultra-rare exotics has, however, decided to do just that announcing that the Huayra would be the official successor to the Zonda. Now Pagani has revealed its latest destroyer of Prancing Horses and Raging Bulls well ahead of the car’s planned debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March.

Oh, the humanity! Pagani’s Zonda supercar was one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful cars of all time, but a purported spy shot coming from a Spanish language car magazine shows the Pagani Huayra to be a catfish-mouthed monstrosity, with all manner of gills, bulging headlights and a snout that looks like its perpetually open.

Pagani has just released the second teaser video in a five-part installment, before officially revealing its new supercar at the Geneva Auto Show in March.

Initially believed to be called the Huayra (a word that means ‘wind’ in the South American dialect of Quechua), the newest name being tossed around is Deus Venti. This likely won’t be the final name either, but it is a good one, meaning “God of the Winds” in Latin.

The video gives us a glimpse inside the Zonda successor, with an absolutely stunning interior made up of only the highest grade materials.

No other details have been confirmed, but the car is believed to do away with the old naturally aspirated AMG engine, in favor of a newer AMG twin-turbo V12, making 690-hp and over 700 ft-lbs of torque.

Pagani has been working on a successor to its incredible Zonda supercar for well over a year now. Code named the C9, the new Italian exotic will reportedly be called the Huayra when it is officially revealed at the Geneva Auto Show in March.

Pagani’s upcoming successor to the Zonda, code named C9, will be the Italian automaker’s latest and greatest, set to debut at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show. Just to give us a little bit of a teaser of what we can expect from the next generation Zonda, Pagani has released quite the teaser video of the upcoming C9.

The video features Horatio Pagani sipping a cup of coffee. Exciting huh? Well, he does pick up a small scale model car. Could this be just the tease of how the C9’s design will be? We can’t wait to see the finished product, featuring the 6.0L V12 AMG powerplant that will pump out around 700-hp and 750 lb-ft of torque.

Pagani’s new C9 supercar will get an all-new, custom made AMG motor, according to a statement just released by the company. The bulletin states that

Pagani’s Zonda supercar is the exotic that just won’t quit. Despite a production run of nearly 10 years, and replacement rumors that rival JFK assassination theories.

Pagani’s tradition of accepting commissions for custom made Zonda supercars doesn’t look like it’s stopping any time soon, and their latest creation, the Zonda 750, is either a cruel practical joke, or the machinations of an eccentric rich guy whose aesthetic sensibilities have gone off the deep end.

One of 15 of the greatest supercars in the world will be auctioned off on October 27th in London. Currently they’re estimating that it’ll go for around $2.2 million, so if you’ve ever been contemplating grabbing yourself a Pagani Zonda R, you better book your flight now to save a few bucks.

And in case you’re just really rich and know nothing about cars, stumbling across this post in a random state of mind, the Zonda R features a V12 AMG powerplant that throws down 750-hp and 524 ft-lbs of torque. Combined with the amazing carbon fiber chassis, the car blasts from 0-60 mph in 2.7 measly seconds. Better yet, it’ll spank your buddies Ferrari 599XX.

Pagani seems to make quite a few special edition Zonda’s, and we’d be proud to own any of them. The Tricolore is particularly awesome because it pays tribute to the Italian Air Force’s elite aerobatics team, the Frecce Tricolori.

As the squad is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, Pagani decided to honor them with a special edition Zonda Tricolore.  The video is pretty low drama as far as car action goes, but if you like airplanes, it’s worth a look.

Pagani’s successor to the Zonda, code named the C9, will continue to rely on AMG for motivation, but in a new twin-turbo format. According to a new report by AutoCar, the Zonda successor will rely on the 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine currently used in Mercedes models like the SL600 and SL65, making around 690-hp and 737 ft-lbs of torque.

As if being able to own a Pagani Zonda wasn’t good enough, the mystery owner of ths Zonda HH has decided to pick and choose his components to create his own one-off  Zonda.

Pagani has just released a complete video documenting the Zonda R’s outrageously fast 6:47 Nürburgring lap time. Set several weeks ago, that time tops the Ferrari 599XX’s best of 6:58 in the somewhat irrelevant category of production-based cars. What that means is, while the Zonda R might have a production chassis underneath it, it’s definitely not street legal.

The Zonda R is a track-only machine weighing just 2,359 lbs and powered by a 6.0-liter AMG V12 engine that makes an incredible 750-hp and 524 ft-lbs of torque. That’s enough for a 0-60 mp time of just 2.7 seconds, using a mid-engine, rear-drive setup with a paddle-shift sequential gearbox.

The street legal lap still belongs to the Radical SR8LM with a time of 6:48. But that’s also a bit ridiculous, as the Radical is just a street-legal prototype race car and it’s not even legal in most countries. The runner up in the production class is another odd-ball, the Gumpert Apollo, with a 7:11.57. Although it’s hard to classify that vehicle as a production car. Finally, and more reasonably, there’s the 7:22 of the Dodge Viper ACR.

As Pagani winds down production of their Zonda supercar, a specially comissioned version, known as the Zonda HH, is being built for a wealthy American customer. According to internet forum Teamspeed, this example will have the most powerful engine available mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and the body will be painted a special Lamborghini blue.

With 680 horsepower on tap, the Zonda HH will also get the top pick of all parts, with a special carbon titanium tub (the only road car in the world using such a structure), center lock wheels, carbon brakes and a titanium exhaust system rounding out the spec sheet.  The “owner” describes it as a cross between a Zonda Cinque and a Zonda F.

Pagani namesake Horacio Pagani told Britain’s EVO Magazine that he’d like to see a smaller, cheaper, V8 model come to fruition in the next few years.

Pagani has once again proven that its cars can go as fast as they look, setting a new production-based car Nürburgring record of 6:47. This bests the recent record set by the Ferrari 599XX of 6:58. The Zonda R’s new time also bests all times posted by street-legal cars, including the fastest street-legal “production car,” the Radical SR8LM with a time of 6:48. Other top-contenders include the Gumpert Apollo with a 7:11.57, and the Dodge Viper ACR with a time of 7:22.

Like the 599XX, the Zonda R is a track-only machine weighing just 2,359 lbs and powered by a 6.0-liter AMG V12 engine that makes an incredible 750-hp and 524 ft-lbs of torque. That’s enough for a 0-60 mp time of just 2.7 seconds, using a mid-engine, rear-drive setup with a paddle-shift sequential gearbox that’s three times as fast as anything Ferrari has.

Horacio Pagani, the namesake founder of Pagani Automobili, isn’t one to let a bit of bad weather spoil his fun. Every year, Pagani hosts an exclusive automotive parade for owners of his cars called “The Vanishing Point”, ostensibly named after the 1971 car chase film. This years event was a little damp and overcast, but that didn’t stop a nice collection of cars from coming out.

In attendance were a few Zondas, a Gulf-oil liveried Ford GT, a Mercedes-Benz SLS, a Ferrari Enzo and a Volkswagen Eurovan. Some less-than sporty luxury sedans also came out, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Bentley Continental Flying Spur and a Lexus LS. Predictably, the drivers were largely of the silver-haired demographic, and their passengers were long-legged, attractive women a fraction of their age.

The video of the event is hardly the most professional, but the sound of multiple V12s bouncing off the stone walls of an Italian piazza will make up for the shaky visuals.
