Pagani Finally Confirms a Huayra Roadster, Rich People Everywhere Start Buying Sunscreen
After years of rumors and speculation, the Pagani Huayra Roadster will finally make its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
It has been nearly six years since AutoGuide.com commissioned an artist’s rendering of the Pagani Huayra Roadster, and we will finally get to see it in real life this March. The Italian exotic automaker has posted a pair of teaser images to its Instagram account, one of which can be seen above that clearly states it’s the Roadster that is making its debut in Geneva. The image was accompanied with this caption: “…So everything had to come together as if it was a car carved out of a block of Carrara marble…”

The Pagani Huayra Roadster has been rumored for several years now and it likely won’t have very many surprises once it debuts. It should be powered by the same 6.0-liter twin-turbo AMG V12 engine found in the coupe with 720 horsepower and it will likely have a similar top speed of 231 mph. The biggest change will be the lack of gullwing doors since the Roadster version won’t have a fixed roof. It’s also expected there will be lightweight structural enhancements to make sure the hypercar doesn’t lose any rigidity.
AutoGuide.com will be in Geneva reporting live on this reveal in March, so stay tuned!
