nissan canada announces video series chronicling nissan z owners and fans

Nissan chronicles the Z sports car through six generations of Canadian owners.

The Nissan Z has no doubt been an iconic car, driving into the hearts and minds of owners worldwide. Its distinctive front-engine, rear-wheel drive, sports car layout has captured the love and desire of many auto enthusiasts for more than 50 years now, including those in Canada. Thus, Nissan Canada has put together a video series, showcasing all six generations of the Z car through the eyes of owners all through Canada.

Officially dropping on March 9, the six-part series chronicles “passionate fans and owners” in Quebec, British Columbia, and Ontario – in both French and English. Each video will revolve around a particular Z car generation, and the impact and love owners have for that particular car. The first video will start with the iconic Datsun 240Z. A new video will release each week, on Thursday, with the final video debuting on April 13. Two of the videos will be hosted by Nissan Canada spokesperson Karine Vanasse, but the remaining four will be hosted by Canadian TV personality Brandon Gonez.

“We truly hope our series resonates with audiences and connects the community of passionate owners we have been proud to count as part of the family for generations.” wrote Ken Hearn, the Director of Marketing for Nissan Canada. Hearn continued, “With each new Nissan Z comes a new generation of enthusiasts, and we look forward to welcoming the new generation of fans to the Z family.”

The videos will debut on Nissan Canada’s Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube channels.
