McLaren 570S Spider Gets Even Lighter With New Track Pack
Following the success of the McLaren 570S Coupe Track Pack, the British automaker has created something similar for the Spider model.
Convertible buyers can now specify the Track Pack when ordering their new supercar, priced at $24,620. The package shaves more than 74.2 pounds from the weight of the 570S Spider, in addition to a louder, sportier exhaust note. On the outside, the 570S Spider Track Pack features a Dark Palladium roof and super lightweight 10-spoke forged alloy wheels in Stealth Finish. Paired with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa rubber, McLaren says the wheels reduce weight by a total of 33.7 lbs compared to the standard wheels. Further weight reduction is available through various carbon fiber options for the exterior.

Inside the Spider’s cabin, buyers can choose from one of six By McLaren Designer Interior Sport Design themes in Alcantara and Nappa leather. Carbon fiber race seats shed another 28.7 lbs from the weight of the 570S Spider. For the driver, there’s a Carbon Black Alcantara steering wheel.
A Carbon Fiber Interior Upgrade package is also available, finishing the door inserts, tunnel sides, extended gearshift paddles, steering wheel spokes, door and lower center console switch packs, and the McLaren infotainment surround in carbon fiber.
