The 2019 Kia Forte just made its debut at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show, and already the Korean automaker is comparing it to one of the world’s finest exotics.

You have to hand it to Kia, whether or not you like the brand. It has grown and matured in recent years, and now exudes confidence like no other. So much so, that Kia saw fit to compare its new Forte with the Lamborghini Aventador, on the track no less. But of course there’s a slight catch to the comparison, since you don’t even need to be an automotive enthusiast to know the Aventador would blow the doors off the Forte on the track.

It’s probably the least likely comparison you would ever expect to see but it’s a well-done video that aims to put a smile on your face.

The new 2019 Kia Forte is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque and is now 3.2 inches longer than its predecessor, resulting in more cabin space for passengers and cargo space in the trunk.
