Jaguar I-Pace Wins the 2019 World Car of the Year
The New York Auto Show is underway, with some cars already debuting before the show even starts, but one of the biggest parts of the show is the World Car of the Year award, which goes to the Jaguar I-Pace this year.
The I-Pace managed to earn the votes from 86 jurors from 24 different countries, with it earning the top honors over the Audi e-tron and the Volvo S60/V60. The I-Pace is considered a huge deal for Jaguar-Land Rover as its the company’s first fully electric vehicle. With a range of 240 miles or 386 km thanks to its 90 kWh battery. It’s also plenty fast, hitting highway speeds in just over 4 seconds.
