Full McLaren Senna Specs Revealed, and They Are Insane
McLaren has revealed full performance specifications for its new Senna supercar.
The Senna was revealed last month, but until now, McLaren had yet to say just how fast its new track-focused supercar was. It’s safe to say owners won’t be disappointed: the Senna will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.8s and from 0-124 mph in 6.8s before reaching a top speed of 211 mph. It will also complete the quarter-mile in 9.9s – which is downright insane for a car not designed for straight-line speed.
Enabling this performance is the Senna’s twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, which makes 789 hp at 7,250 RPM and 516 lb-ft of torque from just 3,000 RPM. A relatively low kerb weight of just 2,641 lbs gives a power-to-weight ratio of 659 hp per ton, which also aids in the Senna’s acceleration and handling performance. And while it doesn’t help with acceleration, the aerodynamically-optimized body and huge rear wing also make an incredible 1,760 lbs of downforce at 155 mph, boosting the Senna’s track day prowess even more.

“The McLaren Senna is a car like no other: the personification of McLaren’s motorsport DNA, legalised for road use but designed and developed from the outset to excel on a circuit,” said McLaren CEO Mike Flewitt. “Every element of this new Ultimate Series McLaren has an uncompromised performance focus, honed to ensure the purest possible connection between driver and machine and deliver the ultimate track driving experience in the way that only a McLaren can.”
The McLaren Senna will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March – which will be the vehicle’s first official public appearance.

I think the most important number here is downforce. What? 1,760 lbs! That's track-only hypercar number. That's nearly the same as the Ferrari FUC K Evo. What a humiliation. Are you sure this is legal? Anyway, where the FUC K Evo is pretty, this one is... Well let's be kind, a functional thing.
I think this car looks pretty in an exotic way, like foreign vs. domestic girls. Still pretty, just different. I really like those see-through doors too.
