With the Passat being discontinued, the Arteon is now Volkswagen’s only mid-size sedan. With a rakish coupe-like profile, the Arteon is a more premium offering amongst family sedans. It battles in a rare segment with the likes of the Nissan Altima and Kia Stinger.
Power comes from an engine similar to the one used in the Golf R which means a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder making 300 hp. It can be paired to the front or all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
