This Alfa Romeo 4C Makes 500 HP From Just 1.9 Liters
You might not have heard of German tuning firm Pogea Racing before.
If that’s the case, allow us to familiarize you. The tuning firm has been pumping out upgrade parts for Alfa Romeos for quite some time now and are the go-to tuning resource for Alfa Romeo 4C owners. They recently showed off their latest creation at Top Marques Monaco 2018 – a near-500 horsepower take on the 4C dubbed the Nemesis.
To give the little four-cylinder 4C supercar levels of power, Pogea bored out the engine from 1.75-liters to 1.95-liters, fitted a larger turbocharger and installed a forged crankshaft, upgraded cylinder heads, forged pistons, larger intake valves, a different exhaust system and a retuned ECU. Pogea also had to upgrade the single-clutch transmission to deal with the added power.

All told, the Nemesis makes 477 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque. That’s a lot in any car, let alone the featherweight 2,315 lb 4C.
As for the styling, Pogea fitted its own body kit to the Nemesis along with a large rear wing, different wheels and a carbon fiber engine cover. The interior has also been completely redone in black and red leather and black Alcantara.
Pogea plans on building just five of these over the top 4C Nemesis models. Pricing has yet to be announced, but work of this quality doesn’t come cheap.
