2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Is Sleeker, Slightly Bigger, And Hybrid Only
The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe gets many of the same upgrades as the standard GLC.
Mercedes-Benz finally took the wraps off the rakish version of the newest GLC crossover; the GLC Coupe. Although it looks similar to the old model, this new GLC-Coupe is actually bigger than its predecessor, 1.2 inches longer and 0.2 inches taller, to be exact. It is sleeker, and more aerodynamic, too.
Like the new non-coupe GLC, the body may not look all that different to the untrained eye. But, the front and rear fascias are sleeker, especially with the thinner taillights at the back. The GLC Coupe comes standard with the AMG-line package, meaning body-color fender flares, and 19-inch wheels are standard on the coupe-ized crossover.
Naturally, the GLC Coupe gets the same interior as the latest GLC. A twin-screen lineup, similar to what we’ve seen in all new Mercedes-Benz products, like the SL coupe, is here in the GLC Coupe. The gauge cluster’s vibrant screen is 12.3 inches, while the center infotainment screen is slightly smaller, at 11.9 inches. All GLC Coupes come standard with a panoramic sunroof.
The GLC Coupe’s motivating power is the same as the regular GLC. This means that a 2.0-liter turbocharged 48-volt mild-hybrid is the lone power source for the GLC Coupe. It produces 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, all sent to a 9-speed automatic that powers all four wheels. All GLC coupes come standard with all-wheel-drive.
Pricing isn’t available yet, but the GLC coupe will be in dealerships by the end of 2023 for the United States. Canada won’t get the GLC coupe until spring 2024.
