Mercedes-Benz’s EQE’s pricing puts it in line with quite a few competitors.

Pricing for the EQE sedan has finally been unveiled, starting at $76,050 for the base Premium trim, EQE 350+, including the $1,150 destination fee. The EQE sedan will come in three trims; Premium, Exclusive, and Pinnacle. It will also come in three levels of performance, the EQE 350+, EQE 350 4MATIC, and EQE 500 4MATIC. Pricing tops out at $92,650 for the topmost EQE 500+ 4MATIC in Pinnacle trim.

All three trims are well equipped, just like in the usual Mercedes luxury car tradition. The base Premium model gets goodies like a big 12.8” screen with MBUX, a power sunroof, and heated seats. Stepping up to the Exclusive trim adds augmented reality functions to the MBUX setup and a fleet of more involved driver assistance modes. The top trim Pinnacle adds four-zone climate control, and a head-up display, among other things.

The EQE 350+ (single motor) is fed by a 90.5 kWh battery, which Mercedes says is good for a 305-mile range. The brand hasn’t released range specifications for the dual-motor 4MATIC, and high-powered variants.

Pricewise, the EQE’s base price lines up nearly directly with the Genesis Electrified G80. Starting at around $80,000, the Electrified G80 is a bit pricier than a base EQE, but keep in mind that the Genesis only comes in one trim. The Genesis also has a dual-motor design, giving the car standard AWD. The base EQE is RWD. It’s a tradeoff though, the EQE is a 50-state car, whereas the Genesis G80 EV is only sold in a handful of states for the time being.

The EQE sedan will go on sale this fall, with deliveries en route to dealerships.
