The 2019 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class will celebrate its world premiere at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.

As the flagship of the Mercedes-Benz model range, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Sedan gets even more exclusive luxury features for the 2019 model year. Up front, the radiator grille now features fine, vertical struts that accentuate the front end. According to the German automaker, the grille was inspired by a pinstriped suit and actually made its first appearance on the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The optional two-tone paintwork, which is already a classic Mercedes-Maybach theme, is now available in nine different color combinations. A new option is a double clear coat that is available for all dark colors, helping create a brilliant surface finish with a piano lacquer effect and a special impression of depth, said Mercedes-Maybach. The second bodywork clear coat, which includes intermediate sanding, is intricately applied by hand by specially-trained varnishers.

The top S-Class model also receives new 20-inch multispoke wheels, but buyers can choose from three exclusive 20-inch wheels if they’re not a fan of the new multispoke design. One of the options include the iconic wheel that first debuted on the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Cabriolet.

Inside the cabin, the 2019 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Sedan receives two new exclusive color combinations: Armagnac Brown/Black and Savanna Beige/Black. The black Maybach Exclusive Nappa leather upholstery can also be ordered with a choice of copper-, gold, or platinum-colored contrast topstitching. Lastly, a newly available trim option is also available in designo Magnolia flowing lines.

The Mercedes-Maybach will be offered in S560 4MATIC and S650 trim. The S560 4MATIC model is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine providing 463 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, good for a zero-to-60 mph time of 4.8 seconds. The more powerful S650 uses a 6.0-liter V12 engine to generate 621 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque for a 4.6-second zero-to-60 time.

The 2019 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Sedan will go on sale in late summer 2018 in the U.S., so expect pricing to be announced closer to its launch.
