2017 pagani huayra bc video first look

It might not be some 1,500-horsepower monster like the Bugatti Chiron and Koenigsegg Regera, but the 2017 Pagani Huayra BC is no slouch.

Making its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the Pagani Huayra BC is named after the Italian automaker’s first customer ever, Benny Caiola. Limited to just 20 units, the Huayra BC offers 789 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque from an AMG-sourced 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. The powerplant is mated to a seven-speed transverse gearbox and allows it to go zero-to-60 mph in around 2.8 seconds on its way to an estimated top speed of 220 mph.

Overall weight comes in at 2,976 pounds and numerous enhancements have been done to the car’s suspension, cooling and aerodynamics. There are also Brembo carbon ceramic brakes and a new electronic differential in the rear.

At any other auto show, the Pagani Huayra BC would be the star. But unfortunately, it’s debuting alongside the new Bugatti Chiron, Lamborghini Centenario and Koenigsegg Regera. Still, it deserves plenty of attention since it’s an impressive machine that hardly anyone will ever get to drive.
